Komets tame Mavericks 4-1
Force Game 7 Thursday at 7:30pm at the Memorial Coliseum
Fort Wayne, IN -- The Komets tamed the visiting Missouri Mavericks 4-1 Tuesday night at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne to even the best-of-seven CHL Turner Conference Finals series at 3-3 and force a Game 7 to be held Thursday night at 7:30 in Fort Wayne.

Scoring for the Komets were Jamie Milam, Mike Vaskivuo, Colin Chaulk and Bobby Chaumont. Vaskivuo also added two assists for a three-point night.
Forward Dale Mahovsky scored the lone Missouri goal at 13:51 of the third period to finish the scoring.
Komet goaltender Nick Boucher earned his seventh win of the playoffs stopping 31 of 32 shots while Maverick netminder Charlie Effinger suffered his third loss of the post-season making 43 saves on 47 Fort Wayne shots.
